The CRXU60D120G3 is a 1200 V / 60 A CR Micro silicon carbide junction barrier Schottky (JBS) diode in the TO-247-2 package, with a typical forward voltage of 1.4 V and a surge current capability of 540 A. The JBS structure delivers a low forward voltage and strong surge withstand, and because a SiC diode has essentially no reverse-recovery charge, it produces no recovery loss and no recovery noise, which makes it ideal for high-current rectification, freewheeling and power-factor correction in chargers, solar inverters, UPS and industrial power supplies. The TO-247-2 package mounts on a standard heatsink and offers a rugged, through-hole footprint with a defined thermal path, and the positive temperature coefficient of forward voltage allows further paralleling without thermal runaway.
